Telephone Survey Capabilities
DRC has the ability to seamlessly manage telephone data collection projects, whether stand-alone or integrated into a multi-mode (paper and web) survey project. By incorporating telephone surveys into an overall survey program, DRC is able to deliver stronger, deeper insight to our clients and meet their program objectives.
DRC offers the following telephone survey capabilities:
Consumer Interviews
DRC understands the importance of fielding telephone-based consumer surveys. DRC has experience using appropriate methodologies and professional call-center services for many of our clients. Our survey research and consulting expertise ensures that telephone surveys will advance your organization’s overall research efforts and provide critical insight.
DRC regularly monitors the public opinion of survey research. Consumers have been besieged by telemarketing calls, and state and federal governments have responded with laws to curb such calling; however, legislators recognize the importance of research to the business, government, and non-profit sectors, and have exempted our industry from such laws. Nonetheless, DRC always treats each survey respondent with professionalism and respect.
B2B Interviews
DRC realizes that calling people at their place of work is very different than calling them in their home. While a different technique may be used to reach a heavy machine operator, a CFO, or a school teacher, business respondents are often more difficult to reach. They typically have little unscheduled time available and may be less inclined to complete a telephone survey. Rather than using the hit-and-miss cold-calling approach, DRC works with our clients to maximize contact probability and gain respondent cooperation through targeted pre-notifications, scheduled interview times, and surveys that minimize the time and effort respondents need to expend on the telephone.
IVR Surveys
Interactive Voice Response (IVR) scripts are written specifically for each survey in coordination with client objectives and requirements. All of the data from each survey mode is mapped and combined into one database. Collected data is updated “near” time – if not real time – into a response rate report and integrated into the overall program data.
